(A technique to convert into editable text from image to standard text)
Optical character recognition(OCR) is used for the purpose of converting digital images into the proper text form. The main plan of an OCR is to make an easily viewed & editable document into the form of text. A clean image files have the accuracy around 97.65% by using the OCR system. Here we have developed an android application which simulates a OCR with xml , java languages and also other APIs to convert image to text form.
INTRODUCTION:-
Optical Character Recognition is a process of classifying of converting a images to a perfect text form. At the first step you have to open the application and have to choose the photo , that you want to convert into the text form , after selecting the photo you have a next page will appear , then A image will appear on your phone , in the right corner of the application a crop option will seen on your phone , you have to crop the particular paragraph , because it will be easy for you to see and it will easy for conversion . The very next stage involves the implementation of technology of Optical Character Recognition for converting the image to text format. Then the OCR processes, its digital image into small components for analysis of finding text or word or character blocks. And then again the character blocks are further broken into components. Accuracy rates are measured in several ways and the ways they are measured impact the accuracy rate.
OBJECTIVE:-
The aim is to build an application to convert into editable text from image(with standard text).
Converting paper document into simple editable text format.
identification of characters from a graphic file and converting them into a regular text.
Speeding up character recognition in document processing
Creating an OCR system for uni-font and uni-text size recognition.
